Leslie - CTCMH
Leslie Dozzo, PhD.
(She/Her)
CEO and Prescribing Psychologist

I have worked with Community Mental Health Clinics in Denver and Philadelphia with the Chronically Mentally Ill population as a therapist and crisis manager. I moved to NM in 1988 and began working with Belen and Los Lunas school districts as a school psychologist until 2004 while I pursued a doctoral degree from UNM, and graduated in 1995.

I have been with CTC since its inception in 1997, as CEO and Clinical Director. Recognizing a shortage of prescribers in NM, I completed the program at NMSU and started prescribing in 2014. I work with children ages 2-18, their families, treatment and regular foster families and conduct ADHD evaluations for young children.

I belong to the state associations for psychologists and prescribing psychologists and have been president of both organizations, and continue to sit on the Ethics Committee for NMPA.

My two greatest passions, besides my children, are St. Bernards and of course, the KC Chiefs!

She further provides psychiatric medication management under the supervision of Dr. Leslie Dozzo while earning practicum hours toward her MS in Psychopharmacology from NMSU.

Dr. Lincourt’s experience of working for Tribal 638 Organizations and urban and rural family medicine clinics has provided her with a unique cultural approach to provide clinical services to individuals from disenfranchised communities who experience mild to severe mental illness, substance use, cooccurring health disorders, and other behavioral health concerns. She graduated from Loma Linda University as a Doctor of Psychology in 2018 and completed her APA accredited internship at Loma Linda’s School of Medicine. It was during her internship rotation in integrated behavioral health that she witnessed frontline strategies in action that reduced health disparities within underserved communities through a whole-person care approach to wellbeing. Shortly after her postdoc ended, she was charged with developing and establishing integrated behavioral health programming across eight clinics at a tribal 638 organization.

Dr. Lincourt’s enthusiasm for the discipline of psychology coupled with her passion for reducing mental health disparities with underserved populations has led her to serve on a number of committees including currently serving as the American Psychological Association (APA) as the Division 45 (Society for the Psychological Study of Culture, Ethnicity, and Race) Native American Member at Large. She is a past Chair of the Psychologists in Indian Country Section of the Public Service Division of APA, former Secretary of the Society of Indian Psychologists and the Society of Indian Psychologist’s 2019-2020 Fellow of the APA Council of National Psychological Associations for the Advancement of Ethnic Minority Interests (CNPAAEMI) Leadership Development Institute (LDI).
